Que Pasa Fest 2016 is scheduled to be a five-day festival filled with music, art, and dance and will be held at various locations throughout the Greater New Orleans area. Festivities will begin Tuesday, October 4 and for the first time in its history, end with TWO days of fun with a FREE outdoor festival for the whole family at the Al Copeland Meadow Concert area in Lafreniere Park, in Metairie, Louisiana. All of the other events leading up to the outdoor fun will also be FREE for the community.
Ivory and the Silk Road Travelers will be featured on third evening of the Que Pasa Fest 2016 at Xavier University. The ensemble will contribute to the Fest series by presenting an educational set woven with original creations, traditional world music, exotic visuals, and international rhythms showcasing an epic adventure spanning time and space.
